Review # 141: "Y: The Last Man - 'Motherland' and 'Whys and Wherefores'"

The ending of "Y: The Last Man" can be emotionally devastating. Brian K. Vaughan does an A+ job at wrapping up his story, but that doesn't mean the result is happy.

Review # 123: "Y: The Last Man - 'Paper Dolls' and 'Kimono Dragons'"

"Y: The Last Man" started to lose some of its momentum in in its sixth volume and - unfortunately - by the end of the seventh it doesn't have it back.

Review # 121: "Y: The Last Man - 'Ring of Truth' and 'Girl on Girl'"

"Ring of Truth" is a pivotal volume of "Y: The Last Man." It adds two important characters to the mix, neutralizes a major villain, introduces another and answers a major question about Yorick's survival of whatever wiped out every other man on earth save him and his pet monkey.

Review # 98: "Y: The Last Man - 'Cycles,' 'One Small Step' and 'Safeword'"

Ladies and gentlemen, the TV show everyone will be talking about in 2016: "Y: The Last Man." This comic book is screaming for a broadcast adaptation and it looks like we're close to seeing it happen.

Review # 77: "'The Walking Dead Vol. 1 - Days Gone Bye' and 'Y: The Last Man Vol. 1 - Unmanned'"

It may seem odd to group these two collections together, but to me it makes sense. These are the first two comic collections I've ever purchased that don't involve superheroes, though they are still clearly in the realm of sci-fi. When I brought the first volumes of "The Walking Dead" and "Y: The Last Man" to the counter at my local comic shop, I called the purchases "dangerous." Both people at the counter nodded in agreement.

We all read the situation perfectly. These are great. I want more.
